GEORGE SNYDER

For over twenty years, George Snyder has created a visual vocabulary using riotous color and dynamic geometric forms to celebrate life.

Earning his MFA from the University of North Carolina in 1976, Snyder has gone on to have over forty solo exhibitions in galleries and museums from Los Angeles to Miami, to Boston, New Orleans and Chicago. In 1994 his “skyship” was unveiled at the Whitney Museum in New York. His work is owned by such noted people as Jack Palance, Andre Agassi and Dennis Rodman, as well as numerous corporate collections including General Electric, Federal Express and the Upjohn Company.
