• I like to think of my work as a beautiful dream of whatever the subject is, even if abstract.

• I like to grow the painting from an idea. I like the idea of my subconscious taking part in my work.

• I spend a lot of time on the beach and in nature and it serves to inspire.

• I like the painting to flow like water or like wind through the trees.

• I try to inspire love and beauty through the looker’s eyes and escape like a walk on the beach to create stress-relief.

• Swimming a lot, I like to try and capture the play between the surface of the water and under, that world between the two, underwater and above.
