My work involves the abstract concept of the gesture of line in space. This line, as it soars through space, enhances the concept of limitlessness and speed. Historically, my involvement of the line has been in the academic setting of drawing and painting on a two dimensional plane. Over the last two decades, I’ve brought this linear gesture out into the three dimensional arena, as one would call sculpture. My thinking though the use of the line and color, leads one to feel the sensation of a painted stroke in space.
